Toulouse Workshop 3-4-5 Juillet 2018 : Infrared detection for space applications
Organisé à Toulouse en collaboration avec le CNES, l’ESA, Airbus, Thales, et le LETI, soutenu par le labex FOCUS.
Les sujets abordés sont :
– Detector needs for Future Space missions,
– Infrared Detectors and technologies such as (but not limited to) :
o Photon detectors : MCT, InGaAs, InSb, XBn, QWIP, SL, Intensified, SI:As, …
o Uncooled Thermal detectors : Si, VOx, pyroelectric detectors …
o ROIC (including design and associated Si foundry aspects).
– Focal Plane technologies and solutions for Space or Scientific applications including subassembly elements
such as :
o Techniques of assembly for large FPAs,
o Flex and cryogenic cables,
o Passive elements and packaging,
o Cold filters, Anti reflection coatings,
o Proximity ASICs for IR detectors,
– Space qualification and validation of detectors and ASICs,
– Characterization techniques,
– Recent Infrared Detection Chain performances and Integration from a system point of view.
Cryostat housing and cooling systems (Cryo cooler) will not be specifically addressed in this workshop in order to
focus more on detection aspects.
